GENERAL SURGERY will have its new album, "Corpus In Extremis: Analysing Necrocriticism", released in the U.S. on April 7 via Listenable Records (with Koch distribution). The CD was self-produced by the band at Off Beat studio in Stockholm and was mastered at Tailor Maid in Stockholm by Peter In De Betou.

GENERAL SURGERY last year parted ways with singer Grant McWilliams and replaced him with Erik Sahlström (MAZE OF TORMENT, SERPENT OBSCENE).

GENERAL SURGERY's first full-length album, "Left Hand Pathology", was released in May 2006 via Listenable Records.
